Our
dental team is dedicated to improving our
skills through quality continuing education
courses. We are proud of our accomplished
dental team members. We enjoy the time we
spend with our patients and would like to
introduce
you to each of them.
Dr. Andrew Allgood-
Dr. Allgood has over 30 years of experience
in the dental field. He is originally from
Gainesville, Georgia and now resides in
Martinez. Dr. Allgood graduated from the
Medical College of Georgia Dental School in
the fall of 1973 and has continued his
dental education through numerous
post-graduate courses dedicated to optimum
health and appearance of his patient’s
smile. Dr. Allgood’s hobbies include
hunting, fishing, golf, and driving
standardbred road horses.
Michelle “Chelle”
Tussey Wood- Chelle’s positions within
the office include dental hygienist,
chairside assistant as well as marketing
director. She has over 15 years of
experience in the dental field. Chelle
graduated from Aiken Technical College’s
Dental Assisting Program in 1993 and
returned to school for dental hygiene at
Midlands Technical College, where she
graduated in 1996 with honors. Chelle and
her husband Tony married in October of 1999.
Her interests include gardening, decorating,
and crafts.
Blenda Myers-
Blenda’s positions within the office include
front office, chairside assistant as well as
lab assistant. She has over 18 years of
experience in the dental field. Blenda
graduated from the American Red Cross Dental
Assisting Program in 1991. She brings
experience in all areas of general and
cosmetic dentistry, oral sedation dentistry,
orthodontics, and TMJ therapy. Blenda is
originally from Missouri. She now resides in
Grovetown with her husband and two children
(son, daughter). Her interests include
reading, church, gardening, hiking, camping,
and spending time with family and friends.
Barbara Jacobs-
Barb brings over 18 years of dental office
experience to our team with her knowledge in
customer service, insurance
pre-certification, patient accounts and
scheduling. She is originally from Illinois
and graduated from college in Wisconsin.
Barb and her husband Chuck live in Evans.
They have three children- Matthew, Rebeka,
and Benjamin. Her interests include cooking,
reading, entertaining and decorating.
Pam Dixon- Pam
has over 30 years of experience in the
dental field. She brings experience in all
areas of general and cosmetic dentistry. She
taught dental assisting at The Atlanta
College of Medical and Dental Assistant’s
program on West Peachtree. Pam grew up on
St. Simon’s Island, GA. She met her husband,
Darryll, in Savannah, GA. They have two
boys, JP and Drew. Pam and her family live
in Martinez. Her interests include reading,
gardening and Bulldog games, both The
Citadel and Georgia.
Jeanie Clark Huffman-
Jeanie graduated from the Medical College of
Georgia in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and
raised in Augusta. Jeanie and her husband
Perry have two sons, Bradford and
John-Clark. They have lived in Martinez for
15 years. Jeanie’s interests include
gardening, baseball, reading, and going to
the beach. |
