The vision of our practice is one of a fun, productive environment helping our patients achieve comfort, health, function, and natural beauty.

Our patients' comfort is our utmost concern. The comfort level in our practice is developed first by the homey, warm feeling in our office, from the fireplace in the reception area for cold winter mornings to our bird feeders luring our feathered friends for our enjoyment. Our juice bar, fresh ground coffee, and just-baked cookies add to our patients' enjoyment of their dental visit. Of course, in our treatment areas we have televisions, comfortable chairs, and stereo headphones for our patients. So that our patients will feel comfortable about needed treatment, we have intra-oral cameras so that each patient is able to see what we see in their mouths. These cameras with their high magnification also enable our dental team to see and treat areas of concern before they turn into disaster areas. We are full believers in Benjamin Franklin's saying that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". For actual dental treatment, the physical and mental comfort of our patients is of utmost importance to us. For this we utilize a number of techniques.
1.	Pain-free local anesthesia - Dr. Allgood through special training has developed painless anesthesia techniques. We all feel there is no reason for any dental treatment to be associated with any type of pain.
2.	Nitrous Oxide "laughing gas" sedation - Dr. Allgood has been utilizing Nitrous Oxide Sedation for over 20 years to relax anxious patients during dental care procedures. Nitrous Oxide or laughing gas is very valuable in enabling apprehensive persons to have their desired dental care.
3.	Oral Sedation "Sleep" Dentistry. This is the newest, and most exciting technique for working with long procedures such as Crown and Bridge restorations. By taking a little pill, the patient snoozes or takes a nap while his or her treatment is performed. Patients wake up relaxed and excited to have their treatment completed in one visit. This technique has been the salvation of our high fear, or dental phobic patients. With approximately 25% of our population having fears of the dental office, Oral Sedation "Sleep" Dentistry is helping improve the oral health, along with the overall health, of these patients.
